Welcome To My Crazy World!!!!
OK.... So for a while now I have thought I should really do a blog. I have found myself swept up into this world of couponing and frugal living and I figure everyone should know how to do this. Everyone should be able to go to Target and have your bill cut in half right!?!?!?!? The problem is, it is time consuming and can really be a pain to organize, but TRUST ME it is soooooooo worth it. How worth it??? I bought a pack of Luvs Diapers today at Target for $0.99!!! SERIOUSLY!!!
But, where do you get these coupons? That is what everyone of my friends asks me. Here are where I have gotten mine.
1. The Sunday Paper!!!
And the inserts are different in different areas, I am in northern Wisconsin and I find my best coupons in the Chicago Tribune!!! So if your local paper doesn't have "the good ones" try the surrounding areas papers. Now I don't buy a ton, and I don't have a "source" to get me 25 of each insert. I usually buy 3-4 papers each week and after a month I was swimming in coupons!!!
2. Directly from the companies!!!
I always call about a bad products or a complaint. Most companies will always replace it. But I also call and email companies I regularly buy with compliments. I have been shocked when I check my mailbox and there are more FREE item coupons in there. These large companies LOVE to here GOOD comments and regularly will thank you for them. And sign up for EVERY program a company has available. ESPECIALLY if you are a parent. I am going to try to keep a list of the best on here somewhere!!!
3. Trade!!!
Thats right~ I have gotten most of my good deals by trading coupons with others couponers. I don't have pets, so it is very easy for me to trade with someone who maybe doesn't have kids. I frequent www.afullcup.com and they have taught me everything I need to know. And I trade on there quite often!!
4. Coupon Clippers!!!
This is a great resource! You pay a processing fee for the time to clip and mail, but this is usually a few cents per coupon. I will get them linked on here because they are the best resource for the hard to find coupons that you might want multiples of, but don't want to buy 20 papers. A lot cheaper this way! For example: I spent $5 of coupons last month. They were for Suave Shampoo and razors I believe. Anyways, spending that $5 ended up saving me $75!!!!!!!! And I don't think I will EVER have to buy shampoo or conditioner ever again!!!!
